Change Your City

Impacting the community around us is one of the greatest things we can do as a church family. Fellowship Church is committed to doing our part in making Dallas/Fort Worth a better place to live for everyone. As we change for the better, each day we have the opportunity to spread that change through service projects that touch the very neighborhoods we occupy.

See below for several opportunities you have to serve monthly or on a one time basis. For more information on these projects, contact the person listed in your area of interest or call 972-471-6867.

Fellowship Church wants to make an impact on prisoners in a prison near downtown Dallas. Volunteers will have the opportunity to visit with inmates one on one and in groups setting to share Christ and provide encouragement.

To volunteer, contact Chuck Titterington at chucktitterington@msn.com. A background check and training are required by the state for ongoing participation.

The women of Fellowship Church are a great combination of compassion and influence and now there is a new mission opportunity for women who are available during the weekday. On Thursday mornings, from 9:00am–1:00pm, there are several volunteer options available for you:

• Grapevine Campus – office tasks and special projects (childcare available for birth – 5 years)
• Nursing Home – group activities for residents (9:00am–11:30am)
  
• Elementary School – tutor students, assist teachers with special projects and office tasks (9:00am–11:30am)

Volunteers will have the opportunity to assist with painting, sorting donations and general maintenance at Interfaith Transitional Housing in Dallas.

Fellowship Church continues to develop a team of volunteers who can respond to emergencies or disasters occurring locally, regionally and nationally. Volunteers will assist various agencies with removing debris, construction, providing meals and more.

This is a time to reach out to the elderly who are often faced with loneliness and discouragement. You can make an impact in their lives by volunteering your time to participate in one of the outreach opportunities listed below.
